Teenage Girl Murdered in Pajwenda: Police Arrest Three Suspects in Ongoing Investigation

  Tororo, Uganda – The Territorial Police in Tororo District are investigating a tragic case of murder that occurred on the night of December 29, 2025, in Pajwenda North Zone, Pajwenda Ward, Pajwenda Town Council. The deceased, identified as Achieng Precious Lucy, a 17-year-old student and daughter of local businesswoman Abbo Juliet Odongo, was found dead in an incomplete house near her home. According to police, the body was discovered by her younger brother, Odell Moses Junior, who had followed her home from their mother’s hotel in Pajwenda Trading Centre. The victim had reportedly left the hotel with two chapatis and a cup of tea around 9:00 PM. Moments later, her brother found her lying in a pool of blood and alerted their mother, who rushed to the scene. The body was found naked and lying in a supine position in an unfinished structure without doors, adjacent to their residence.
